About Us

In 1931, Anna Travaglione opened Mother Anna's restaurant on Hanover Street in Boston's historic North End. Her exquisite cuisine quickly became a local favorite, attracting a loyal following of regulars who returned week after week.

Restaurant interior with long bar counter, multiple flat-screen TVs showing sports, wooden chairs, granite tables set with glasses and red napkins, and bottles on shelves.

The cherished recipes have been preserved within the family, passed down through the generations.

Today, Anna's great-grandsons, John Caparella Jr. and Michael Caparella, continue to uphold the traditions that began over 85 years ago in the North End.

And now, they are bringing the beloved Mother Anna's to Medfield, Massachusetts.
